Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth Address Rumors They’re Expecting Baby No. 4

Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth are setting the record straight after social media speculation claimed the couple is expecting their fourth child.

The reality TV couple, who already share three children — Gideon, 8, Evelyn, 4, and Gunner, 2 — discussed the pregnancy rumors while appearing on Joy-Anna’s sister Jinger Duggar’s The Jinger and Jeremy Podcast on Wednesday, Feb. 25.

Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth and their kidsDuring the conversation, Jeremy Vuolo jokingly suggested that Joy-Anna and Austin had another major announcement coming.

“You guys are going through a lot. You just moved. You’ve got three children with a fourth on the way,” Jeremy said, teasing the couple about an alleged pregnancy announcement.

“Not yet,” Austin replied, while both he and Joy-Anna shook their heads.

Joy-Anna then acknowledged that the rumor has been circulating online, particularly on Instagram.

“If you go on Instagram, that is the case,” she joked.

Jinger pointed to another reason the rumors may have gained traction, noting how AI-generated content has made it increasingly difficult to tell which celebrity announcements are real.

“I feel like with AI, everybody’s having these fake pregnancy announcements. It’s kind of insane,” Jinger said.

Jeremy then asked directly whether there was actually a rumor that Joy-Anna was pregnant.

“Yes,” Joy-Anna confirmed.

“That’s so Duggar of them!” Jinger joked.

When Jeremy asked whether the speculation was true, Joy-Anna made it clear that it was not. She explained that she had already addressed the pregnancy rumors herself during an Instagram Q&A.

Joy-Anna has previously been open about motherhood and the difficult experiences she has faced along the way. In 2019, she and Austin experienced the stillbirth of their daughter, a loss Joy-Anna later described as one of the hardest periods of her life.

The podcast episode also revisited a much lighter Duggar-family story involving another source of online confusion: the nickname “Evy.”

Joy-Anna’s daughter Evelyn is affectionately called “Evy,” while Jinger’s daughter Evangeline also goes by the same nickname. The sisters previously discussed the coincidence during a February 2025 podcast episode.

Jeremy recalled that there had been some joking “drama” surrounding the two girls sharing the nickname.

Joy-Anna explained that people frequently notice the duplication, particularly when the sisters and their families spend time together.

Jinger revealed that Joy-Anna and Austin had kept Evelyn’s name private until after her birth. Evelyn was born about six months before Jinger and Jeremy welcomed their daughter Evangeline.

According to Jinger, Joy-Anna sent the family a video announcing the baby’s nickname, only for Jinger and Jeremy to realize that they had unknowingly chosen the same nickname for their daughter.

The coincidence prompted Jinger and Jeremy to call Joy-Anna and Austin to make sure they were comfortable with both girls being called “Evy.”

Joy-Anna said she had no problem with it, even though she acknowledged that having two “Evys” in the family could occasionally be confusing.

For now, however, Joy-Anna and Austin have made one thing clear: despite the latest social media speculation, there is no fourth baby on the way — at least not according to the couple themselves.
