During a candid appearance on sister Jinger Duggar’s podcast, Joy admitted that the fallout surrounding brother Joseph Duggar’s criminal case has left her feeling overwhelmed, describing the past few months as “the hardest time I’ve ever gone through.”
Joseph and his wife, Kendra Duggar, were both arrested earlier this year after Joseph was charged in connection with allegations involving the sexual abuse of a minor. While Joseph has pleaded not guilty and is awaiting trial, the case has dominated headlines and placed the Duggar family back under intense public scrutiny.

“I think we’re all grieving in different ways,” she shared during the conversation. “Every day just feels so heavy.”
