Savannah Guthrie is once again speaking out as the heartbreaking search for her missing mother, Nancy Guthrie, continues nearly four months after her disappearance.
The Today show co-anchor shared an emotional message on Instagram Stories over the weekend, offering another painful glimpse into the anguish her family has endured since Nancy vanished from her Tucson, Arizona, home on February 1.
“Oh my, my soul it cries out, soul, it cries out,” the message read alongside a religious painting depicting Christ’s ascension. Savannah then added a direct plea that has become central to the family’s public campaign: “Bring her home.”
Authorities believe Nancy Guthrie, 84, was abducted from her residence by a masked intruder during the early morning hours of February 1. Investigators later revealed that alleged ransom notes sent to local media outlets strengthened their belief that the disappearance was not voluntary.
Despite months of investigation involving local authorities, the FBI, and forensic labs, no suspect has publicly been identified.
Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos previously said investigators are continuing to work through significant amounts of evidence connected to the case, including mixed DNA samples recovered from the property.
“I think every day they get closer,” Nanos said during a May update on the investigation.
“There’s way too much work to be done, that is ongoing, with some of the physical evidence we have,” he added.
Savannah has remained vocal about keeping public attention on her mother’s disappearance. Earlier this spring, she shared another emotional post featuring the same biblical artwork with the words, “I believe, I believe.”
The longtime journalist and her siblings — Annie and Camron — also released a public statement thanking the Tucson community for its support during the ongoing search.
“We are deeply grateful for the outpouring from neighbors, friends and the people of Tucson,” the family said. “We are all family now.”
The statement continued, “We continue to believe it is Tucsonans, and the greater southern Arizona community, that hold the key to finding resolution in this case.”
On Mother’s Day, Savannah shared a touching tribute video featuring clips of Nancy throughout the years.
“Mother, daughter, sister, Nonie — we miss you with our every breath,” Savannah wrote. “We will never stop looking for you. We will never be at peace until we find you.”
She also urged anyone with information to contact the FBI tip line, emphasizing that anonymous tips are accepted and a reward remains available.
As the investigation stretches into its fourth month, the Guthrie family continues pleading for answers while authorities pursue new forensic leads behind the scenes.
