Paul Caldwell, the father of Kendra Duggar, says his family is now facing major financial struggles after publicly supporting the alleged victim in the criminal case against his son-in-law, Joseph Duggar.
In a recent update posted to a GoFundMe campaign created for his family, Caldwell revealed that they were forced out of a home connected to Joseph and Kendra while also allegedly losing employment opportunities during the fallout surrounding the ongoing legal scandal.
โWe are willing to stand for the protection of the weak and vulnerable in society,โ Caldwell wrote in the emotional statement. โBecause of that stand, we have been put in a situation that has caused the loss of our current housing situation and employment.โ
According to Caldwell, the family has now been left scrambling to relocate while facing mounting financial pressure due to the sudden changes in their living situation. He explained that having to move on short notice created additional hardship for the family as they search for a new place to live.

The GoFundMe campaign has reportedly raised more than $34,000 to help support the Caldwells during the transition.
Caldwell also made it clear that none of the money raised would go toward helping anyone accused of harming children. In his statement, he stressed that the funds are intended solely to support his family during the crisis.
The comments come shortly after the Caldwell family publicly voiced support for the young girl accusing Joseph Duggar of sexual assault. Earlier this month, the family released a statement praising the alleged victim for being โcourageousโ enough to come forward while promising to stand beside her throughout the legal process.
At the same time, they also expressed continued love and support for their daughter Kendra and her children despite distancing themselves from the allegations surrounding Joseph.
The housing dispute itself had already surfaced in jail calls previously obtained by media outlets, where Kendra reportedly discussed pressure surrounding her parents moving out of one of the properties tied to her and Joseph.
Meanwhile, Joseph continues facing multiple criminal cases in both Florida and Arkansas. In Florida, he has pleaded not guilty to charges connected to allegations that he sexually assaulted a 9-year-old girl during a family vacation in 2020.
As part of his release conditions, Joseph is currently prohibited from having unsupervised contact with minors, including his own children.
Separately, both Joseph and Kendra are also facing charges in Arkansas involving allegations of child endangerment and false imprisonment, though officials have stated those accusations are unrelated to the Florida case.
The growing divide within the extended Duggar family has fueled intense public attention online, especially as more relatives continue speaking out amid the escalating legal drama.
