Patrick Clancy Quietly Remarries as Lindsay Clancy Faces Trial Over Deaths of Their Three Children

As Lindsay Clancy prepares to stand trial for the deaths of the couple’s three young children, new court proceedings have revealed that her ex-husband, Patrick Clancy, has quietly remarried and started a new life.

The news emerged during a July 23 court hearing when Lindsay’s defense attorney confirmed that Patrick is now married and living in New York City with his second wife, a fertility specialist. The revelation came just before Patrick is expected to testify as one of the first witnesses at trial.

Patrick has remained largely out of the spotlight since the January 2023 tragedy, when he returned home from picking up dinner to find Lindsay critically injured after jumping from a second-story window and their three children—Cora, Dawson and baby Callan—fatally strangled with exercise bands.

In 2024, Patrick publicly said he had divorced Lindsay but insisted, “I wasn’t married to a monster. I was married to someone who got sick,” expressing his belief that severe mental illness played a role in the tragedy.

Earlier this year, Patrick also filed a wrongful death lawsuit against several of Lindsay’s healthcare providers, alleging that a rapid series of psychiatric medications contributed to her deteriorating mental condition before the killings.

As the trial begins, prosecutors are expected to argue that Lindsay carefully planned the murders by sending Patrick out of the house before killing the children. Her defense team does not dispute that she caused the deaths but argues she was suffering from severe mental illness and should not be held criminally responsible.

Patrick is now preparing to testify in a case that continues to draw national attention while trying to rebuild his life after one of the most devastating family tragedies in recent memory.
