Cardi B has declared war on TMZ after the celebrity outlet published photos of her leaving a private Los Angeles dinner with Nigerian soccer goalkeeper Maduka Okoye.

In a furious social media video that quickly went viral, the Grammy-winning rapper accused TMZ of stalking her private life and treating her like “hip-hop’s Britney Spears.” Cardi paced through a dark room while music played in the background, shouting that the press watches her every move while ignoring the secrets and relationships of other major celebrities.
But one detail immediately threw the internet into confusion.
During the rant, Cardi appeared to identify the man in the photos as “soccer star Odell Beckham Jr.” Beckham is an NFL player, not a soccer star. The athlete photographed with Cardi was reportedly Maduka Okoye, the 25-year-old goalkeeper for Nigeria’s national team and Italian club Udinese.
Fans are now debating whether Cardi simply misspoke in the heat of the moment, confused the names, or deliberately referenced Beckham for reasons that remain unclear.

“I’m really hip-hop’s Britney Spears,” Cardi said, arguing that relentless media attention has left her feeling hunted and humiliated. She claimed she knows explosive secrets about other celebrities, but those stories are never reported because the public and media do not care as much.
Her message was clear: other stars are protected, but Cardi’s personal life is treated like public property.
The rant ended with a direct challenge to the media: “Bring in the drama then.”
Sources described Cardi as frustrated and exhausted by the constant surveillance. The Britney Spears comparison immediately sparked controversy, with supporters arguing Cardi was exposing a familiar pattern of media harassment. Critics, however, accused her of overreacting and mocked the mistaken Beckham reference.
The dating photos have also raised questions about Cardi’s relationship status with Offset. The couple has experienced several public breakups and reconciliations, but neither Cardi nor Offset has clearly explained what the dinner with Okoye means.
Maduka Okoye has remained silent, and Udinese has reportedly declined to comment.
TMZ has not removed its story. Instead, the outlet added an update about Cardi’s rant, intensifying the conflict and keeping the speculation alive.
Now the biggest question may not be whether Cardi B is dating Okoye.
It is whether she will follow through on her threat to expose the celebrity “tea” she claims to possess.
Cardi wanted the drama brought to her.
Now the entire entertainment industry may be waiting to see who she names first.
