Judge Orders Milagro Gramz to Secure Megan Thee Stallion’s $75K Judgment After Appeal Setback

Milagro Gramz suffered another legal defeat in her ongoing battle with Megan Thee Stallion after a federal judge rejected her request to stop the rapper from collecting a $75,000 judgment while her appeal continues.

Megan Thee StallionChief U.S. District Judge Cecilia M. Altonaga denied Gramz’s request in Miami federal court, ruling that she failed to provide enough justification to avoid posting the required bond before blocking collection efforts.

The dispute centered around the appeal bond. Under local court rules, Gramz was required to secure approximately 110% of the judgment amount — meaning she would need to put up $82,500 to pause enforcement of Megan’s award during the appeal.

Gramz argued that she could not afford the bond, claiming she is self-employed, has unstable income and supports two children. She also said she does not have significant assets that could be used to cover the payment.

However, Judge Altonaga ruled that Gramz failed to provide sufficient evidence supporting those claims.

The judge wrote that Gramz “supplies nothing” to verify her financial situation and rejected a later declaration she submitted because it was filed too late.

“Her asserted lack of assets and inability to post a full bond confirm the very risk that the bond requirement exists to prevent,” the judge stated.

The ruling does not end Gramz’s appeal, but it means Megan can continue pursuing collection of the $75,000 judgment while the legal process moves forward.

The judgment stems from Megan’s defamation case against Gramz, where the rapper successfully secured the award after the court reinstated the verdict. Megan was also previously granted sanctions related to alleged discovery issues involving deleted messages.

For now, Gramz’s appeal continues — but the court has made clear that the financial consequences of the ruling remain active.
