In a thrilling announcement for fans, “Dutton Ranch,” the highly anticipated spinoff of “Yellowstone,” has officially secured a second season following its record-breaking debut. Starring the dynamic duo Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser, the series captivated audiences worldwide, amassing an impressive 12.9 million viewers in just its first week on Paramount+.

Premiering on May 15, “Dutton Ranch” has quickly established itself as a monumental success, becoming the most-watched original series launch in Paramount+ history. The excitement didn’t stop there; the show also garnered 2.9 million viewers during its two-episode premiere on the Paramount Network, marking it as the biggest cable series debut of 2023.

Reilly and Hauser have brought Beth and Rip to life for nearly ten years, first captivating audiences in “Yellowstone” back in 2018. As the daughter of the late John Dutton (played by Kevin Costner), Beth’s tumultuous relationship with Rip, the ranch’s steadfast foreman, has become one of television’s most compelling narratives.

In a conversation with PEOPLE prior to the series premiere, Reilly reflected on the complex dynamics of their relationship. “There was such a history of Beth and Rip and what they meant to each other,” she shared, noting how their romance began in their teenage years.
