Nearly 40 years later, Minnesota cold case Carla Beth Anderson still leaves unanswered questions.

Carla Beth Anderson, 23, of Wadena, disappeared in November 1987.A decades-old mystery in Minnesota is receiving renewed attention as authorities continue searching for answers in the disappearance of Carla Beth Anderson, a woman who vanished nearly four decades ago.

Anderson was 23 years old when she was last seen at her apartment in Wadena on November 13, 1987. After spending time with her family and celebrating a milestone at work, she returned home but never appeared for her shift the following day. Investigators later found no clear signs of a struggle inside her apartment, though some personal items, including her keys and work jacket, were missing.

Authorities believe Anderson did not simply leave voluntarily and have treated the case as a suspected crime. Over the years, investigators followed hundreds of leads and conducted numerous interviews, but no arrest has been made.

Now, the Minnesota Department of Public Safety and local investigators are offering a $25,000 reward for information that could help locate Anderson or provide new details about what happened. Her family continues to hope someone with knowledge of the case will finally come forward and bring answers after decades of uncertainty.
