In a thrilling twist for Rams fans, the possibility of a powerhouse duo featuring Myles Garrett and Aaron Donald has sparked excitement. However, NFL legend Eric Dickerson has a different take, urging the retired defensive star to remain off the field.
TMZ Sports recently caught up with Dickerson at LAX, where he shared his thoughts on the buzz surrounding Donald potentially returning to the Rams following the team’s acquisition of Garrett from the Cleveland Browns. While the idea of seeing the 35-year-old defensive titan donning his iconic No. 99 jersey again is enticing, Dickerson believes it may be best for Donald to enjoy his retirement.
Dickerson emphasized that Donald has already accomplished so much in his career, including a Super Bowl victory, three Defensive Player of the Year awards, and eight First-Team All-Pro selections. With such an impressive resume, the former running back feels there’s no need for Donald to prove anything further.

Interestingly, Donald himself has hinted at the allure of a return. In a text exchange with Pat McAfee, he suggested that he might be open to the idea, but it seems his wife could have a significant say in the matter.
As fans continue to dream of a formidable Rams defense, the question remains: will Aaron Donald truly stay retired, or could we see him back in action?
