Nancy Mace is calling for Jay-Z to potentially participate in the ongoing Jeffrey Epstein investigation after the music mogul’s name appeared in an unverified document tied to the case.
The controversy stems from a single document connected to the broader Epstein files in which anonymous allegations mentioning Jay-Z — whose legal name is Shawn Carter — were recorded through a public tip hotline established during the investigation.
According to reports, the hotline allowed individuals to anonymously submit information or accusations related to Jeffrey Epstein. Those calls were reportedly transcribed into documents regardless of whether the claims were verified or later investigated.
Jay-Z’s name allegedly appeared alongside Pusha T in one of those records. However, reports emphasize that the allegations involving both artists were never substantiated or followed up on by investigators.
Despite that, Mace recently released a lengthy list of individuals she believes should potentially testify as Congress continues examining matters connected to Epstein and his associates.
The list reportedly includes several high-profile names from politics, entertainment, and business, including Woody Allen, Harvey Weinstein, Bill Gates, Alan Dershowitz, and Jay-Z.
Interestingly, Pusha T was not included on the proposed list despite being named in the same unverified hotline document as Jay-Z.
Observers online have questioned whether Jay-Z’s inclusion reflects genuine investigative interest or simply the political impact of attaching recognizable celebrity names to the ongoing Epstein controversy.
So far, there is no indication that Jay-Z has been formally subpoenaed or accused of any crime related to Epstein. His name has not reportedly appeared in Epstein’s direct communications or flight logs connected to prior investigations.
