The upgrade targets the internal combustion engine, an area where Ferrari was reportedly more than four percent off Red Bull’s pace. With two homologation windows in 2026 and two more in 2027, this is their second shot this season, following an earlier update at the Austrian Grand Prix in June.

Hamilton now sits third in the standings, level on points with George Russell but 59 behind Antonelli. The timing couldn’t be better, especially with reports that Antonelli faces an engine penalty that could push him to the back of the grid on Sunday.
