Late Music Producer Tay Keith Left Behind Massive Estate When He Died

Late music producer Tay Keith left behind more than just a legacy of chart-topping hits — according to court documents, his estate includes a luxury car collection, a Tennessee home, and significant financial assets.

The 29-year-old producer, whose real name was Brytavious Lakeith Chambers, died unexpectedly on June 18, 2026. He was found inside his Nashville apartment after his girlfriend called 911 requesting a welfare check, reportedly telling dispatchers he had high blood pressure and breathing issues.

Now, his mother, Jalisa Chambers, has been appointed administrator of the estate. Court filings reveal the estate holds substantial assets, including bank and money market accounts, a Mercedes-Maybach, and a Lamborghini. It also lists a 50% interest in a Memphis home, a stake in Shadow Tequila, and a 50% interest in an engineering studio.

His music publishing interests, catalog, trademark, and royalties are also part of the inheritance.

Jalisa noted in the paperwork that she intends to coordinate with his record label and publishing companies to ensure payments are directed to her.

According to the documents, Tay Keith was not married and had no children at the time of his death. He also did not leave behind a will.

The producer, known for working with Travis Scott, Sexyy Red, and many others, was only 29. His cause of death has not yet been released.

What remains unknown is what will happen to his unreleased music — and whether the legal process will reveal more about the final months of his life.
