According to court documents, Parker became a mom at 17, welcoming daughter Emersyn with her then-boyfriend Donald Whiteside. After they split, she married Tommy Wacasey and gave birth to their son Trey when she was 21.

Following Trey’s complicated delivery, Parker had a tubal ligation to prevent future pregnancies. Then came an ectopic pregnancy, and during surgery, doctors discovered ovarian cysts and endometriosis scarring. While she was under anesthesia, a hysterectomy was performed—removing her uterus completely.

Her ex-husband Wacasey reportedly approved the procedure, per court records. The couple divorced in 2017.

Fast forward to 2019: Parker began dating hog trapper Wade Griffin and moved into his home. In January 2020, she told him she was pregnant. Over ten months, Griffin’s family grew suspicious—especially when October came and went without a baby.

Desperate to keep her story going, Parker drove to her friend Reagan Simmons-Hancock’s home. Reagan was 35 weeks pregnant with her second child. According to testimony, Parker brutally attacked her, cut the baby from her womb, and kidnapped the infant.

Doctors later confirmed Parker had not given birth. The baby did not survive. Parker was convicted of capital murder and sentenced to death in November 2022.

So what happened to Parker’s own children? Her daughter Emersyn, now a teenager, was placed with Parker’s mother, Shona Prior, who testified at trial that she told the kids their mother “did not have the parts required for pregnancy.” Emersyn still sees Wacasey and his family, and Prior sought counseling to help her process everything.

Her son Trey? He reportedly stayed with his father, Tommy Wacasey, after the couple’s divorce—Parker allegedly did not fight for custody, according to court testimony.

Just weeks before the crime, Parker asked Wacasey to take custody of Emersyn, too. And both kids were present at the gender reveal party where a calf wore a pink bow, announcing Parker was supposedly expecting a girl.
