She alleges that she was wrongfully terminated for refusing to engage in illegal activities on his behalf. However, 50 argues that her claims are based on a flawed premise: that random calls and texts she received meant he was orchestrating a campaign of intimidation against her.
According to 50, Mayers worked as his assistant from 2007 until 2019, and the messages she received were simply from people attempting to reach him at a number they had associated with him for years. He contends that if she truly felt threatened, she could have easily changed her phone number instead of waiting years to take legal action.
The rapper also points out that Mayers filed her lawsuit more than seven years after her employment ended, arguing that she missed the statute of limitations. His response comes after she accused him of causing emotional distress and invading her privacy by allegedly sharing her phone number, leading to years of unwanted communication.
50 Cent further claims that the more sensational aspects of her lawsuit, including references to his past financial issues and an alleged request to file a false police report, are irrelevant and seem designed to attract media attention rather than substantiate her legal claims.
