And this time, the center of that storm is Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, and his planned return to the United Kingdom this summer alongside Meghan, Duchess of Sussex.
According to multiple sources, ahead of an upcoming Invictus Games-related event, Harry is said to have made a series of “demands” intended to ensure Meghan is not placed in situations where she could feel judged or disrespected upon re-entering royal territory. These requests, insiders claim, have already triggered mixed reactions within the Palace.
Caught between protecting his wife and maintaining fragile ties with the Royal Family, Harry is described as “walking a tightrope” — balancing loyalty to his family with responsibility toward his marriage. He is reportedly insisting that Meghan must be treated fairly and not be cast as a target of criticism before the visit even begins.
However, within royal circles, the situation is not being viewed so simply.
Some senior royals are said to be frustrated by the continued pre-conditions being raised ahead of the visit, particularly as so many of the concerns appear to revolve around Meghan.
