In a recent court filing, Busfield’s attorney, Stanton “Larry” Stein, asserted that the actor is innocent and accused the prosecution of misconduct during the grand jury proceedings. Stein emphasized that the jurors were not given access to vital testimony and evidence, which he argues is a violation of Busfield’s rights.
