In a poignant turn of events, Catalina Mancera has welcomed a baby boy named Makhai, seven months after the tragic passing of her boyfriend, Marshawn Kneeland. The child was born on June 11, and Catalina shared heartwarming images, including one featuring Makhai in a onesie that honors his late father, showcasing Marshawn in his Dallas Cowboys jersey.
Catalina’s announcement came with a touching video that captured a moment of joy between the couple, where Marshawn can be seen beaming as she reveals her positive pregnancy test. This marks the couple’s first child together, a bittersweet reminder of their love.
Tragically, Marshawn Kneeland’s life was cut short last November at the age of 24 due to a self-inflicted gunshot wound, reportedly during a mental health crisis. In the days leading up to his death, police dispatch audio revealed that Catalina had expressed concerns for his well-being, noting he had sent alarming messages to family members.

In a harrowing incident, authorities in Frisco, Texas, attempted to pull Marshawn over for a traffic violation, leading to a high-speed chase that ended with him crashing his vehicle. His body was later discovered in a portable toilet, a heartbreaking conclusion to a young life filled with promise.

Following his untimely death, the Dallas Cowboys honored Marshawn by dedicating a locker in his memory. Coach Brian Schottenheimer reflected on his spirit, describing him as “the most playful spirit of any young man” he had ever encountered.
