50 Cent Expands GUnity Business Lab In Houston, Plans To Reach More Students - AllHipHopThe rapper and business mogul partnered with Houston ISD to launch the initiative, selecting more than 100 students from six different high schools to participate in a year-long program focused on real-world business skills.

Students involved in the GUnity Business Lab learn everything from starting a company and managing operations to handling finances, communication and leadership. The program is designed to give young people practical tools that many schools traditionally do not teach in depth.

At the center of the initiative is the โ€œHustle Tankโ€ competition, held at NRG Arena, where students pitch their business ideas directly to 50 Cent and a panel of judges for opportunities to receive mentorship, funding and support.

He shared that many students in the program come from challenging environments, including households without both parents present, something he personally experienced growing up. According to him, those experiences help him communicate with the students on a deeper level and encourage them to believe success is still possible despite obstacles.

The program also pairs students with mentors and business coaches who guide them through the process of building their ideas into realistic ventures. Many of the students say the experience has changed the way they view themselves and their future opportunities.

Beyond teaching business skills, the GUnity Business Lab focuses heavily on confidence, discipline and personal growth. Students are encouraged to think creatively, speak publicly and learn how to turn ideas into real opportunities.
