Josh was sentenced to 151 months in federal prison in 2022 and is currently serving his sentence at FCI Seagoville in Texas.

In the email, Josh allegedly wrote that it was “shameful” that only one sibling sent him a message and only one completed a video visit while he was in custody.

Josh also reportedly complained that other relatives — including Joseph Duggar and his wife Kendra Duggar — had not contacted him despite remaining close with his wife, Anna Duggar.

In a message intended for the Duggar family group chat, Josh allegedly criticized his siblings for failing to support him during his imprisonment.

Josh reportedly described Anna as “practically a widow” and said his children were effectively growing up “fatherless” while he served his sentence.

The former reality TV star ended the message by saying he still loved all of his siblings “even those who have been hurtful.”

Josh’s projected release date has reportedly been extended multiple times and is now scheduled for February 2033 as he continues attempting to appeal his conviction.
