D4vd is receiving unwavering support from his family after prosecutors revealed shocking new allegations about the death of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez.
The rising singer is currently facing multiple felony charges, including first-degree murder with special circumstances, after Los Angeles prosecutors accused him of killing the teenager inside his Hollywood Hills home in April 2025.

According to Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman, the charges are among the most serious the office can pursue and could potentially carry life without parole — or even the death penalty.
Despite the severity of the accusations, D4vd’s family says they are standing firmly behind him.
Family attorney Kent Schaffer released a statement shortly after prosecutors announced the updated details in the case.
“We are disappointed but not surprised that the District Attorney made this decision. David’s family stands behind him 100 percent.”
Prosecutors allege that D4vd invited Celeste to his home on April 23, 2025, where they claim he killed her using what court documents describe as a “sharp instrument.”
Authorities further allege that weeks later, on May 5, he mutilated her body before hiding her remains inside his Tesla.
The case became even more disturbing after investigators reportedly discovered Celeste’s remains inside two cadaver bags in a Hollywood tow yard nearly four months later.
Due to the advanced decomposition, medical examiners initially struggled to determine the exact cause of death. Prosecutors now claim evidence points to a sharp object being used in the killing.
The District Attorney’s Office also alleges that D4vd committed the crime to silence Celeste after she allegedly threatened to expose a sexual relationship that prosecutors claim could have destroyed his career.

Additional charges include lewd acts involving a child under 14 and mutilation of a body.
D4vd’s legal team has strongly denied the allegations and insists evidence will ultimately prove he was not responsible for Celeste’s death.
Meanwhile, the controversy has already had devastating effects on the singer’s career. Following the investigation, reports surfaced that Interscope Records quietly cut ties with the artist, and his planned tour was ultimately canceled.
The case continues to dominate headlines as prosecutors decide whether they will officially pursue the death penalty.
