Charlamagne Tha God has weighed in on an alleged leak from Drake’s highly anticipated new album, Iceman, calling the rapper a “sore loser” based upon some of the track’s lyrics.

If real, the leaked record, supposedly titled “1AM in Albany,” could be the latest in Drizzy’s famous timestamp series. The lyrics have sparked discussion online because it includes shots directed at Kendrick Lamar, LeBron James, Joe Budden, and Dr. Dre, among others.

While reacting to the alleged leak on the Breakfast Club on Thursday (May 14), Charlamagne suggested he wasn’t too enthralled.

“I hope this isn’t what Iceman is about, because if it is, I’m going to just assume we calling Drake ‘Iceman’ because he’s frozen in time,” he said. “It’s like, bro, get over the L you took to Kendrick already. This record just continues the conversation that Drake is the biggest sore loser rap has ever seen.”

He continued: “If he had more to say, he didn’t have to wave the white flag two years ago. He’s the one who put out ‘The Heart Pt. 6’ and waved the white flag. He didn’t have to do that if he had more to say.”

C Tha God also asserted that Drake is “very hypocritical” when it comes to the way his feud with Kendrick unfolded, because he also said “salacious things” about K. Dot on his diss, “Family Matters.”

“Y’all both went to hell on each other… But one of y’all has moved on, and the other hasn’t,” he continued. “Don’t let your setback become your identity. That’s what I feel when I hear this record. Like, ‘God dang, is he still talking about this?’”

Breakfast Club co-host, Loren Lorosa, suggested that Drake needed “healing” after the beef with K. Dot, which Charlamagne laughed off. “I wish him well, I wish him healing, I just hope this is not what Iceman is about,” he said. “It’s been time to move the page.”

Charlamagne insisted that he still believes Drake is a “phenomenal” rapper, and there’s no debate when it comes to that, but he’s disappointed if the leak is real. “I like hearing him rap, but the content he chose to address is very, very, very mid, bro,” he said.

If the song is, in fact, real, fans don’t have to wait much longer to find out. Iceman is finally scheduled to drop on Friday (May 15), but before that, he’ll be hosting the fourth episode of his Iceman livestream series at 9:45 p.m. ET on Thursday.
